Forged for a lifetime
For more than three centuries, we have forged axes by hand at our location in the heart of Sweden. The axe has long been a tool of survival, and a symbol of self-reliance. Today, we no longer rely on the axe in the same way, yet it remains essential for those seeking their place in nature. Our blacksmiths preserve a tradition passed down through generations, ensuring every axe delivers strength, balance, and satisfaction.
300 years and counting.
From Steel to Finished Axe
An axe may look simple. Making one is not. Every Hults Bruk axe passes through many hands and a carefully controlled sequence of operations. Traditional blacksmithing skills work alongside modern production technology, with every stage contributing to the performance, durability and character of the finished axe.

We’re working on a closer look at how a Hults Bruk axe is made – from the first piece of steel to the final inspection. Soon, you’ll be able to explore each step of the production process and the craftsmanship behind every axe. Stay tuned.
